Armed Forces Community Foundation "Stand-To" Match Day

November 11th is a great day to donate to our organization.  Donations made between $25 and $3,500 will receive a 50% match through the Armed Forces Community Foundation.

Check - Friends of the Fort Riley Museums on the on-line option list or write it in the Memo line of your check.

The museums of Fort Riley have some things that government funds cannot, or simply do not cover. For instance, the current renovation of the museums does not include the clock tower of the Cavalry Museum. One of the goals of the Friends is to have the clock in the tower restored and working. Other funds will help in the purchasing of reference materials for the museum's reference library, purchase reproduction uniforms for color guards for local and military events, purchase of display cases and numerous miscellaneous items. With your help we can keep the Fort Riley Museums at the forefront of military museums and help preserve the history of Fort Riley and the local area. 

Mission

To assist the Fort Riley Museum Division to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret those materials that are integral parts of the history and traditions of the U.S. Cavalry; the 1st Infantry Division and units assigned to Fort Riley; and the Custer house.  To assist the Fort Riley Museums in the historical education, training, research and other historical efforts.
